I met Debbie in nursing school and we became close friends right away.I guess it was that smile. We maintained our close relationship right till the end. I have never laughed so hard with anyone, ever. I will keep the laughter, the desire for a good time and the strong sense of love for family, deeply close, keeping the essence of Deb alive, within me, my actions and in my laughter. I miss you sweetie poops.

Debbie was the near perfect person and friend to everyone she would meet, it was a joy to be her buddy and to spend time with her from the time we met in jr high until she moved in '78 you couldn’t stop smiling when you were with her.
I am proud to call her a friend.

My sincere condolences to Debbie's family, on the loss of such a wonderful soul whose life was taken too soon. I knew Debbie for all 12 years of school in Westford and we had our share of fun and laughs during that time. One of my fondest memories is when we went to see Alice Cooper with Linda Mackey and Sue Monty at the Garden - we were freshmen and I believe that it was our first concert. What fun! Debbie's smile, grace and quick wit were always a complement to any occasion. She will be missed!

My sincere condolences to Debbie’s’ family and friends.
I grew up in “Nab” with Debbie on Plain Road. We graduated from Westford Academy together. Though I have not seen her in years I often thought of her as I drove pass the “Petersons” house on my visits back to Mass. She had the best smile, one that took over her entire face to the point her eyes smiled as well. May all the wonderful memories help to guide you through this loss. I will pray for strength for all of you near and dear to her heart.

It is with great shock and sadness that I rec'd word of Debbie's passing through the HS e-mail chain. Deb was always a bright and beautiful example of humanity and doing things 'the right' way. She was uncompromising and dedicated, warm and confident, eager and competitive. Her family was blessed with such a wonderful soul - just not for as long as they would have hoped. My condolences to all who had the pleasure of being a part of her life, and know that she now looks down from her place above, keeping you always in her heart and not far from her sight.

Debbie was a beautiful and charming young lady when I knew her in elementary school through high school. Knowing her made our lives better. Unfortunately, I never saw her again after high school. To her family, I am very sorry for your terrible loss.

Paul, Eileen & Family,
We cannot even imagine your heartache at losing such bright and accomplished daughter. Someone once said "It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all." This is so true . . . you must be so proud of everything Debbie accomplished in so short a time! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this very sad time in your lives. Much love from the Rigg Family.

So many warm and funny thoughts of Debbie (and Nancy T. for that matter). Valley Head, H.S. drama and just shenanigans. Debbie was soulful even in h.s. Condolescenses to Deb's husband and son... her folks and siblings. All of us will remember her smile and "calmness" With sadness, Eden

A voice from the past would like to offer condolences to Debbie's family back east, to Debbie's many friends and to her husband and son. I knew Debbie briefly back in Westford, we went to the same schools (North Middle School and the old Westford Acadamy) until our family moved to the bay area late in 1973. You could tell even back then she was destined to do good things in life. She always had a great smile, a twinkle in her eye and always offered a kind word. Even though her time here on earth was way too short, she accomplished a lot and obviously touched a lot of lives. Sincere condolences to the family and to all those who were close to Debbie.
