Dorothy Dill

Dorothy Dill Peacefully in San Francisco, July 25, 2006. Daughter of the late James and Mary Scanlon and devoted wife of the late Art Dill. She was predeceased by four sisters and three brothers. Loving aunt and "Bonus Mom" to Mitchell and Jack Dill and Diane Scanlon Holland. Very special aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. She was the life long friend of many. A proud native of San Francisco (Mission district). She loved her home of 60 years and had an open heart for all animals. The simple things in life brought her great joy. She lived her life never forgetting her roots, or where she came from. Her family and friends will miss her quick wit and sense of humor. We loved her with all our hearts. The family would like to thank the staff at the Lawton Health Care Center for their kindness, care and support. Family and friends may visit Sunday, 3-9pm and are invited to attend the Rosary on Sunday, 7pm at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 10:30am, St. John the Evangelist Church, 19 St. Mary's Ave., SF. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
