To Cathy's loved ones: Our family has known Cathy for many years. She lived down the street from us, in Sacramento. She always had a smile on her face and her voice was full of joy and happiness. She helped me through some very hard times and I will always be grateful to her. I remember when she was "published" for the first time in Newsweek magazine. She showed us the article and said "I wrote that paragraph", we were in awe. We love her and we'll miss her. - Georgia

Cathy, my heart hurts because there's a little hole in it now. But, I will fill that hole with memories of you, of all our adventures and all the laughs we had. Thank you for being my friend. I love you and will miss you. Love to Lawr, Joey and Macaroni too.
