Tisha was such a warm, inviting, and humble person. I met her at Mt. Zion and she made me feel welcome from the moment i saw her.. Even coming in church now, i cant help but look over in the office wishing i could see her BIG smile and wave!! She was truly the sweetest person i think i have ever met, and Zion will most certainly miss her!!

I never thought in my lifetime that I would be sitting here writing a memory of my best friend. How can I summarize 31 years of laughter, tears, disappointments and successes? Going from Mt. Vernon Elementary to Gibbs High School to Florida A&M University. There’s not a day that goes by without me remembering how Tisha was there for me for everything. Coming home from FAMU on the weekends to get our hair done with Arrinette and Lavonne. Traveling to Jacksonville with her to check on Mommy. Coming home to see Junior and Robbie’s football games. Visiting every niece and nephew. Listening to her tell me how Teidra introduced her to Jeff again after attending Gibbs High together. Going to the movies to see “How Stella Got Her Groove Back,” sitting in the theater crying during the funeral scene. Then when it came on TV we would call each other crying again. How she would call me from Tech Data to listen to a song on the radio because she remember when…or just to get our praise on. Visiting Mt. Zion Primitive to hear Elder Ben Adams “line a hymn,” Theresa and Toya singing a solo and the choir’s astonishing concerts. Lord knows she love her Zionites. Even during her down moments she would call for me to take her up to the church to do this or that. Being in my sister’s (Pacherrah Faulkner) wedding together…the funny thing is Tisha was suppose to be doing the make-up for the girls but when we went to pick out our dresses we were having such a great time trying them on she ended up getting a dress as well. Only God knew that we would use the picture for her programs…All I can say is “the steps of a good man are ordered by God” Psalm 37:23.
Mommy, Jeff, Herb and Robbie know that I am always here for you all. I am still there for every birthday, graduation or whatever the celebration maybe.
I love you all so much!!!!
Tisha's Bestfriend!

May God be with the Dorsey and Cassaway families. I met Tisha through my cousins, Pacherrah and Quanette Feazell. I remember when we have Thanksgiving dinner at their house and I enter the house, I would see Tisa sitting on the couch when you first walk in with that big gigantic smile on her face. She would get up and we would hug eachother. I am really gonna miss her because she would always brighten up any room. Now when I go to my cousins house,and the sun shines brighter than before I know that will be Tisa. Lord please bless and keep her always

Tisha u will be missed. I've known Tisha since our days at Gibbs High School. We both were at FAMU together, but graduated at different times. I've been in Michigan since 1997 and I realize the last time I would have seen her would have been at the class reunion in 2000. Tisha was a very nice person and I will always remember her smile and that she was liked by everyone. I'm glad to know that the Lord Jesus was the center of your life and that I will see u again.

To Jeff & The Dorsey Family. Tisha was a sweet wonderful young lady that I had the pleasure of knowing from the time she was in her early teens. And although I had not seen or talked with her in many years, I will always remember her beautiful and infectious smile. I know she was raised to be a strong, loving God fearing young lady and I am saddened that I did not have the opportunity to see her grow into that person. To the family, I would like to say you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God be with you during this diffcult time and bring you some peace and comfort during your bereavement.

Jeff and the Cassaway and Dorsey Families,
I was shocked to hear that we lost one of the most beautiful and gracious people I've known. Tisha was always so positive, smiling, gregarious. You would never know that she was carrying such a burden. I'm sorry your families have lost this angel on earth; but I know that you know that we are all blessed for having had Tisha in our lives for the time that God allowed us to have her. We are but "temporarily separated" now from Tisha and the reward in the end is that we will join her later.
A couple of years ago, I made a dress that Tisha thought was awesome. I'll think of her every time I wear it, and hope she's smiling when she sees me with it on!
God bless you all, and remember Philippians 4: 4-7.

I met Tisha through Inroads and we also went to FAMU together. Tisha was always a joy to be around. She had a sweet and giving spirit and was loved by all who knew her. The family has my deepest sympathy. The Lord heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalms 147:3. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10.

Jeff & Family, I am so sorry for your profound loss and although I share your loss in Tisha leaving this earth, I know Heaven is rejoicing that one of their most beautiful angels is home! She was so proud of you and loved her family so very much. Although I will miss her terribly I feel fortunate and tremendously grateful to have had the time to get to know Tisha over the years. She was one of the most beautiful people I have ever known. I truly can't remember one day when we talked with each other where she didn't smile and we didn't giggle over so many silly things that so many others would be worried about. She always knew how to put things in perspective and to show me how not to worry about the little things that really don't matter in life and to focus on the things that do. She was a very sweet friend to me and always made me feel I was special to her. I can only hope she knew how special she was to me too. May God keep you in his prayers and help you through this difficult time. I am praying for all of you. God bless.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
(Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

Tisha was truly an angel on earth...she always had a smile on her face and we would always sing the Friday song together at Tech Data. She is one of my very very favorite people. She is now an angel up in heaven, and I know she had such a strong faith and I know she is the brightest angel there! Tisha passed away the same day that we had a successful court hearing for our beautiful new daughter, Leeza Grace Serra, all the way in Kostanai, Kazakhstan. We named her Grace because it was only thru the grace of God that we were blessed with our newest angel, and I know that Tisha is smiling down on her too. Tisha was a beautiful soul and she leaves such an incredible legacy behind.
My heartfelt sympathies to her family and friends. She was so very much loved by so many!!!

To Tisha's husband and family. I met Tisha years ago and found out that she had graduated from Gibbs High School and Florida A&M along with my daughter La Kesia. Tisha was such a positive and inspiring young woman. It was a joy to have known her, if but briefly. Surely she leaves a great legacy of faith and love to her family and all who knew her. It touched my heart to learn of her passing, yet as Christians we know that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". God bless and comfort you and heal your wounded hearts. Sincerely, Jo Ann Swain-Nesbitt, St. Petersburg, FL

To Jeff Cassaway and Family:
I met Tisha at Tech Data many years ago and soon I realized we went to the same hairdresser. She reminded me a little of myself - she was small, but very feisty. From a distance, I watched her grow into the professional that she was. After I left TD, I learned that she was best friends with my soror Quanette and the Goddaughter of Ms. Maxine Feazell. Enough said. I didn't need to know anymore. The Feazells are "good" people, which told me even more about Tisha. In her short time here on earth, Tisha left a legacy. May you find peace in knowing that she will be remembered as an outstanding and impressive young lady who was very fun to be around. May her spirit always surround you. God's blessings and peace to you in the days ahead.

In thinking of Tisha, I think I can see her singing this " Jesus love me this I know for the Bible tells me so" As some of you may ask God where were you? To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, ""I welcome you.""
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......""My day was not in vain.""
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

When I am dead, my dearest
When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.
I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget.

2 Corinthians 5
1For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
12For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
13For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.
14For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
16Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Lift thine eyes to the Lord, for He is always with us. Tisha will be missed as she was an individual who always displayed a positive outlook and a winning smile. Family, as you now go through your day to day please remember that Tisha will always be around through an occasional scent that reminds you of her, a song that is played, and sometimes even a passing glimpse of a fluttering butterfly. Continue to praise and honor God for Tisha was a person of that character. Be Blessed Always.

Tisha was such a sweet and cheerful person. She was a joy to work with and we will miss her greatly. She did so many nice things for people and always had a positive attitude. She was very proud of her family, she sent me pictures of her nephew recently. Our thoughts are with her family at this time.
