Hi Mary sweetie, another year has passed and I always like to update you about Paul and the grands. Everyone is fine and missing your lovely personality. Paul appears to be doing good and like all of us, just putting one foot in front of another. Wishing you were here to share your quiet wisdom. Love Arnieze

I too am a Stanley, John W. Stanley, III from Richmond, Virginia.
Reading Mary's remembrance sounds so close to the Stanleys of my family.
This display of love has only brought me even closer to those loved ones lost that day.
God has yet smiled on us again by allowing his people to still come to Him at anytime and bless Him.
God bless you Mr. Stanley for you wife was truly a blessing.

To those who did not know her:
Mary was married to my husband Dave's cousin Paul. They were a beautiful couple. Not just in looks, but in their hearts as well. I've never known someone so giving. Mary gave me my very first computer over ten years ago. She sat down and taught me how to use it. She gave me software to update it when needed. They gave us furniture when we did not have it, and when Paul got a memorial settlement he disbursed $1000.00 to family memebers. Some whom had not seen or spoken to Mary and him in years, myself included.May God Bless and Keep Him
To Mary:
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. You are one of God's brightest stars in the heaven. I Love You and Miss You. Shivi

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

My husband, Mario Balzan, aunt, Mary Stanley was a victim of September 11th. We live in Brampton, Ontario, just north of Toronto. We attended the Marsh memorial service for the families at St. Patrick's Cathedral on September 28th. We still have had no word of Mary's remains being found, however, we would like New Yorkers and all Americans to know how devastated and sorry we are, despite our own grief for the sorrow and trauma your city and nation has experienced from this horrific and senseless act of terrorism.
Please know that all Canadians are your friends and allies. Our troops left Halifax, Nova Scotia last weekend on our 3 frigates and destroyers-navy, air force and grounds personnel to fight for what we, as Canadians, feel is our duty to protect- freedom and democracy for all people, and especially we are fighting hand in hand with you, our friends, the Americans.
Please accept our deepest condolences on all of your losses and may there be peace in the world someday soon. God bless America and Canada, the lands of the free and the homes of the brave (as our anthem says).
Sincerely,
Lynn Berry and Mario Balzan
