To Rhonda and the kids,
I hope you are all doing well. I played in a band with Allen in 1999-2000 and played your red Tama double bass drum set. He was a very gifted and talented singer and bass player. I wrote a song in November of 2001 called The Sky Is Falling. In the song I played a drum solo and always dedicated it to Allen. I will send it to you if you would like. I think about Allen a lot. I always wondered about where you were and how you wee doing Rhonda. I have been trying to find you for years and tonight by a miracle I have. Please contact me. At the college I went to in Maine I brought everyone I knew to the small memorial they had there and pointed out Allen's name and made sure they knew about him and his family. I can't play without remembering him and Rhonda and her drums.

Allen will never be forgotten. I say a prayer for him every year on this day for him and his family . May he Rest In Peace . Allen and I grew up just down the street from one another he being a little older than I was . He was the person who helped me get my first job at Pizza Hut along with Helene. I was 13 years old at the time just answering phones. It was in Sept of 1987 when I started that job. 34 years later Iam still in the restaurant industry and I never forgot the person who got me started and I never will . Rest In Peace Allen and thank you for your kindness and the impact that you had in my life.

I think about you all the time. I'm sure my dad does too. He thought of you as a little brother. It was very hard for him to hear you passed that day. You use to read to my baby sister all the time. I loved to watch the band practice, you are such a talented musician/singer. Your simile was so warm. You where the kindest most genuine man; a true gentleman. I hope your children and wife are doing well. You'll never be forgotten. God bless all the 9/11 victims.

Thinking about you Allen. Chuck would always talk about you with such fondness. He described you as one of the nicest people he had ever met, always having a positive outlook no matter what was going on. From you strut to your catch phrases; "DAMN SON" and “KNUCKLE BUSTER". May you Rest in Peace and may God's grace look over your children. You will never be forgotten.

I never knew you personally but you touched my life. We lived in the trailer park managed by your mother-in-law. When our little one was born 9/11/02 we were given some hand me down baby clothes. Later we learned they'd belonged to your youngest son. It made them all the more special. I often think of your wife & children because I know what it's like to "walk in their shoes". My husband and youngest son's father was KIA 6 yrs ago in Iraq fighting this war on terror. I hope with all that I am that your family is doing well and will enjoy happy memories as we face the 10 year anniversary.

Mr. Boyle, I have never met you or your family. I received a memorial bracelet with your name on it and strangely I feel compelled to speak to you. Words cannot express the emptiness I feel today. I look at your name and it teaches me to treat every moment in life as a precious moment. I pray that your family will know what your sacrifice means to me. I am so sorry for their loss. I feel terrible that I am just now writing this entry. Its coming up on 7 years since his death and I still remember seeing his face right before he went for a smoke. I was a co-worker and a friend of his. God must have been watching over me that day because it could have been me as well. I was working in a different wedge of the building that day and had to use the mens room so I went over to wedge 1 where they had clean restrooms. I go up the stairs and see Allen and another co-worker at the end of the hall in E-ring. I would have gone to chit chat with them but really had to go take care of something else. So I just waved hello and went into the restroom. About 2-3 mintutes I hear the loud explosion that shook all the way to the A-ring. I quickly finished up and walked out of the restroom to clouds of smoke. Luckily I knew my around and made it down the stairs and into the court yard. All I could think about was Allen and if he was done smoking or not? If he was did he make it out of there in time? When the news came in that Allen was missing I knew he was dead. The timeline would have either put him outside and he saw the plane coming right at him or he was in the stairwell coming back from his smoke break. Allen was a kind, funny, and wonderful person. He worked hard to take care of his family and loved them dearly. I will always remember him and truly miss him. My thoughts and prays go out to his family and friends.

Nature

As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently, that we go
Scarce knowing if we wish to go or stay,
Being too full of sleep to understand
How far the unknown transcends the what we know.

I met Allen by a chance of fate.My sister was dating at the time his very best friend.I pray at this time and always for Allen and his family. His smile was a smile of a person at peace with the live he was living. We should all learn to be so humble. He still probably has that smile! And is at complete peace with how his life ended up!We should learn from that.....I also feel the pain of the person I knew as his best friend.I feel your happiness, sorrow and tears. You as his best friend have amazing moments and memories of such a caring soul!If you knew Allen well you would know who I'm referring to when I mention his "Best Friend".Til' we see that smile again,I would like to "THANK" Allen
for giving me "SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN" and for being a part of my life and thoughts, and memories.

Allen was the man. I remember as a kid he was always the cool uncle. For my birthday and christmas he got me a nirvana 'bleach' tape and a Pearl Jam 'Ten' CD which I still listen to to this day. He was like a cool chill friend and honestly the nicest and most kind hearted person I have ever met in my life. Right along with my mom. I was always excited when he would come over. I hope his kids can understand what a truly great human being he was. RIP

Allen was a great uncle to me, father to his children, husband, brother, and person. He was one of the kindest and gentlest people i've met in my entire life. He strived to take care of his family, and did a good job. I hope all is well with his wife and 3 children.
Now he is in peace in heaven with his sister, mother, and father.

Allen was my uncle. I am former resident of Dallas and I would like to thank everyone for thier kind words and prayers for his family. Allen lost his parents when he was young and my father (his brother) and my mother were his guardians. So he wasn't just my uncle he became the big brother I always wanted. I have a son whose birthday is May 10, 2002. He was born at 11:21am. Allen's memorial in his hometown was on 11/21/01. I decided for many reasons to name my son after him and that just made it harder to not have him around. Allen we will always love and miss you!

Although I did not have the privilege of knowing Allen Boyle personally, I feel a special kinship to him as a fellow family man and Fredericksburg resident. It touches my heart to have learned how very devoted and selfless he was to his family, working two jobs to provide for their welfare, happiness, and security. I deeply regret that Allen did not have the pleasure of experiencing the birth of his third and last child before he was so tragically taken from this life. May his children grow up loving and honoring his memory, as his beloved wife teaches them in his example. May God bless Allen's dear wife and precious children with His love, comfort, endearing grace, and enduring mercies.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I hope this encourages the family of Allen that we are praying for them in their time of grief.

We Remember You

We remember you in your anguish and pain,

knowing that in this life you'll never see your friends or loved ones again.

You'll never see their precious smile or feel the warmth of their embrace,

or hear the laughter in their voice or wipe a tear from their face.

We remember you in the days to come when reality sets in,

that there'll be an empty place in your home and heart where your loved ones should have been.

Yes they should have been there in your life,

to share your joy to share your strife;

To share your laughter to share your tears,

to share your dreams through the years.

We remember you in our thoughts and prayers

And to let you know that somebody cares.

Yes we care that you are lonely and blue,

So we are sending this hug especially for you.

We pray you find peace from the Lord above,

And that He will surround you in His love.

We pray you'll have the strength needed to go on,

To prove to the enemy that they have not won.

And when the hurting comes anew,

Please know in your heart that we remember you.
