My,name is Raymond Logue I am L.H. Brother. L.H. Has been gone nearly 8 years the last of Oct.2017 seems like it was just a short time ago. Hearing him sing Hank Williams Mansion on the Hill,Love sick Blues,he loved to sing Hank Williams he was his idol Today I was watching movie about Hank Williams (I saw the light ) and listening to the songs brought Back so many memories about my brother.

He was a good man with a good heart he was not a perfect man we all have things we want to forget about. L.H. opened his home up to me and my 2 brothers when our mother left us. That day he be came our Daddy to me and my brothers.

Luke "Thank" you for being there for us . I know you are with the rest of the brothers and sisters and singing all the Hank Williams songs talking about your plane. But they say when you leave this earth you only have good memories Don't know.
I know Echo is there and her family. Luke not going to say goodbyes but see you all all soon in the future. Miss you think about you often.Love you Raymond

Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

I pray that God will be with you and your family right now in your time of sorrow and need! If I can do anything please let me know.

To the Logue Family. I want you to know you have our utmost sympathy in the death of your family member. We've known Luke for about 20 years through Melvin & Darlene. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor and loved to sing the old Hank Williams songs. He's going to be missed.

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Lucas Harris Logue, Jr. our “Brother-in-Arms”. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Lucas. And to Lucas it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. Lucas, we bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.

On behalf of the 1,341 members of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Lucas’s family and loved ones.
