Robert E. Hall Jr. loved video games and movies, but most of all he was a sucker for his 3-year-old daughter, Rachael. "His family was his life," said his wife, Tracie. Hall, 30, of Bellevue, Pa., was killed June 28 by an explosive in Dujayl. He was based in Greenwood, Miss. The 1993 high school graduate was a member of the Individual Ready Reserves working in waste management before he was activated on Sept. 11, 2004, and shipped to Iraq on New Year's Day. "He knew he had to go. He wasn't happy about it. All he wanted to do was do what he had to do and get home. If I could have found a way to keep him home, I would have," his wife said. The couple met through a mutual friend and married 4½ years ago. They last talked the day before he died. "He said everything was OK. He couldn't wait to come home. He was like he always was, very laid back, very reserved, very quiet."
