D'Wayne was my only brother,
A few here will be lost without him, but I know he is watching over them and that he will guide them on their path. I hold dear my memories of growing up with D'Wayne .... Sledding on Snell Avenue and at D.W. Fields park... Washing the car and having ice cream at Dairy Queen on Sunday, flying kites and fishing off the big rock, Bataca bat fights and breaking my bed. (shh I never told mom or dad). I remember Christmas' at nana's, playing board games on rainy days, pizza on nana's and grandpa's metal trays, the year he bought me a big jar of yellow mustard for my birthday and eating mustard sandwiches together and watching you graduate. The rides in the Mustang with the broken passenger seat, pushing your honda around the basement pretending I could ride and building our house with Dad and Teddy but most of all I remember having to say good bye, to soon, to my big brother.

Until we meet again Mom's Prince.
Love Always and Forever

D'Wayne, the proudest moment of my life was when you were born.
when you were young I tried to teach you right from wrong , and all I knew about life.
As you got older I called you My Prince, your sisters teased you. You and I laughed; we knew that made them each a princess.
You became so gentle and kind and as you got even older you were able to easily forgive those that wronged you.
Whenever, I thought of you, I felt happy.
Whenever, I saw you, my heart felt full of love.
All I ever wanted, was for you to be happy. All you ever wanted , was to work for Dad.
Until we meet again My Prince, I am saving the melody I feel in my heart.
To put together with the words , gone to heaven; when we were torn apart.
I'll love you forever,
Mommy
