I met Hilda at Blue Hills where my Mom has been residing for the past year. Hilda always had a big smile and was just a lovely person to be around. Made me wish I knew her before. I'll sure miss her smiling face. My condolences to her daughters and family.

On behalf of my father, Louis and my brothers, Michael and Mark, I send our expression of deep sympathy for the loss of Hilda. She was a wonderful woman and a model mother and wife. A dear friend to my mother, Blanche, I hold her memory in my heart.

From retirement in Nevada, we send our condolences on the passing of Aunt Hilda. I (David) will always remember the days of living on Winthrop St., the Shalitys on the first floor and also teachers Ms. Whiting and Mrs. Holmes in the building. Adele had a 45 RPM record player that was fun to listen to, and for many years I reminded Hilda how fabulous her spaghetti sauce was. These seemingly trivial things are what help to keep memories of our loved ones alive in our hearts.

I will forever remember Hilda’s kindness for all the 33 years we have been friends. I will always remember our every Friday night “dates” for tea and conversation. We spent countless hours trying out Avon perfumes and jewelry. I loved our “girl talk” and cherish all her quotes which I use in everyday life. I always walked out the door feeling so loved by our conversations , her warm hugs and gentle kiss. She always let me know things would be better when the world wasn’t always such a loving place. Hilda always made me feel I was part of her family. She always referred to me as her “niece”. I especially recall a conversation we had when she started to take ill. We promised to always stick everything and anything out, good or bad, together, right to the end, and we did. I choose to celebrate her life. She will always be alive to me and be my forever friend.
Hilda, keep the water hot………………………………….
I Love You

I don't knowif you would remember me but I am a long lost cousin who in the 1940s had visited you and your family in Brockton when you lived on School St. We lost contact as our families grew and went separate ways. My wife, Lee and I want to express our sincere condolences to you and your family,
