Darlene Peters Obituary

Madison, Wis. Darlene Ruth Peters, 37, of Madison, died May 9, 2008, surrounded by family and friends, at St. Marys Hospital in Madison, from cancer. Born June 30, 1970, a daughter of Donna (Eidson) Peters of Brockton, Mass., and Dan-iel Peters of Falmouth, Mass., she was raised in Norwood, Mass., and was a graduate of Norwood High School. She had lived in Wisconsin for the past four years and was employed as a security guard. Darlene loved to travel. Her last trip was in March 2008 to Disney World with her mother and two youngest children. She was courageous and devoted to go on this trip even though she was ill. In addition to her parents, she is survived by four children, Caitlin Peters, Christopher Peters, Codie Lee Peters and Dakota Lynn Peters, whom she dearly loved and helped her until the end; her maternal grandmother, Gladys Eidson of Brockton and her late grandfather, Jess Eidson; her loving and devoted brother, Mark R. Peters; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also the paternal granddaughter of the late Emily (Watson) Peters. Funeral services were private. Darlene Peters will be dearly missed.

She was a wonderful friend and we feel blessed that she had come into our lives.

Darlene was a true inspiration to many peoples lives she touched, including ours!

You were a great person. I had fun working with you, lots of laughs. I also remember that everynight you would phone your children and make sure they were all ok. You will be missed terribly!!! God Bless your entire family and help them to get thru this awful time.
