Harold Post Obituary

Bridgewater Harold L. "Curley" Post, a lifelong resident of Bridgewater, died unexpectedly on Saturday at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was 75. Born in Bridgewater, a son of the late Robert and Esther (Hofling) Post, he was a 1950 graduate of Bridgewater High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was the past owner of Cranberry Plaza Mobil in Wareham and H & R Foam Rite Insulation Company. He enjoyed holistic nutrition, flying and reading. Beloved husband of 53 years of Genevieve "Mae" (Moruzzi); devoted father of David and his wife Joanne of Bridgewater, Kevin and his wife Kathy of Raynham and Rosemary Pedley and her husband Hugh of Pa.; also survived by nine grandchildren; brother of the late Howard, Ralph and Alvan Post, Dorothy Penna and Helen Hazzard. A funeral service will be held Wednesday in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
