Marion Huxley Obituary

Wareham Marion Irene (Wilson) Huxley, age 86 years, of Wareham, formerly of Middleboro, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Francis Joseph Huxley, who predeceased her on March 28, 1984. She was born in East Bridgewater, daughter of the late Joseph H. and Ellen May (Sousa) Wilson, and resided in Middleboro most of her life. She was a retired waitress, having worked for the former Red Coach Grill and the Valley Steakhouse. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro. She enjoyed music, dancing and the ocean; especially clamming. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother and sister. Survivors include three daughters, Geraldine F. Huxley-Robinson of Clearwater, Fla., Mary Ellen Huxley-Banks of Wareham and Carol L. Huxley of Manomet; one sister, Doris Wambolt of Maine; 23 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; several nieces; and nephews. She was mother of the late William J. Francis Jr. and George R. Huxley and Janet K. Kwasniak, Kathleen A. Huxley; she was sister of the late Earlin Wilson and Evelyn Mills. Funeral services will be held from the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro, Friday. July 11, at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre St., Middleboro, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Thursday, from 5-8 p.m. Burial will be held in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Friday, at 2:15 p.m. For more information, please visit www.eggerandashleyfh.com.

I miss you Ma.... I think of you every morning, my life is forever changed. I love you so. I was waiting to get better so I could see you more, I never expected you to die like this, at least your pain is all gone though.. *hugs* luv ya and i''ll be at yr grave every week mum. xoxo
