Joseph F. Carroll

Brockton Joseph F. Carroll, 90, of Brockton, died July 11, 2008. A native of Revere, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He resided in Cambridge for many years and was a heavy equipment operator for the state and played piano professionally. He retired to South Carolina and enjoyed worldwide traveling. He was a member of D.A.V. and the Y.M.C.A. The husband of the late Margaret J. (Malley) Carroll, Joseph was the beloved father of Joan Carroll of Brockton, Patricia Norton of Stoughton and Margaret Tomeo of Revere; a loving grandfather and great-grandfather; and uncle of many.
