Anne Sullivan Obituary

Weymouth Anne S. (Geloran) Sullivan, 62, of N. Weymouth, formerly of Rockland, died July 18, 2008, at the Colonial Nursing Home in Weymouth, after an illness. She was born in England, daughter of the late Francis and Doris M.(Read) Geloran and was raised and educated in Rockland, graduating from Rockland High School. Anne later received an associates degree from Massasoit Community College. Known to be loving and devoted to her family, Anne also enjoyed participating in local bingo games. She retired several years ago after working with her sister at Wrap Ups, a gift wrapping service located at several malls, most recently at the Hanover Mall. She is survived by her son, Daniel S. Sullivan and his wife Brenda of S. Weymouth; her grandchildren, Abigail Sullivan and Jacob VanLare of S. Weymouth; and her siblings, Mary J. Davidson of N. Weymouth, Kimberly F. Grooms and Claudia J. Leavenworth of Florida, Francine E. OConnell of Whitman and Roland J. Geloran of Brockton. Also surviving is her step-mother, Marjorie Geloran of E. Bridgewater; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late James Geloran and longtime companion of the late Richard McCarthy. A funeral will be held from the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland, Wednesday, at 10:15 a.m. A funeral Mass will follow in Holy Family Church at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery.
