Dear Uncle Carl,
It was a complete shock to my entire family to hear of your death. Even though, since Auntie's death, we hadn't been as close, we still enjoyed hearing that friendly "toot' pulling up the street and into the driveway, most of the time bearing donuts for all. You are extremely missed and I just hope you and Auntie Georgia are eternally happy now that you are back together in each other's arms. I will continue to visit both of you every Sunday, along with Grampa Joe and Nan.
Loving you forever, Kristy and Emilee

All of us at the Bridgewater Council on Aging just found out last night that Carl had sadly passed away. We all miss his wonderful, delightful personality and "those great legs". He played a great game of whist, and I always looked forward to having him as my partner. We all said a final prayer to this kind, gentle, friend that we had the pleasure of knowing. I will truly miss him. My condolences to all of you.

To the Smith Family: While I did not know Carl personally, I have had the pleasure of hearing the wonderful stories from Stacey, and through that, knowing all of his children, grandchildren and future great-grandchildren. From what I know and see, he has nurtured a wonderful, caring family and in that, has left a lasting legacy to all who have had the pleasure of knowing both him and his family. God bless you all -- Tom, Benjamin and I send our prayers to you all. Peace be with you.

Your life is a remarkable testimony to what both diligence and determination can achieve. You will truly be missed by us all, and we can now only find comfort in the fact that you are in a better place, united in love again with Grandma, and watching over us all. My heartfelt thanks go out to you for everything you did throughout your life. I love you and already miss you.
