Dear Steven, Chris, Jen & Mrs. Martin:

I only just found out tonight of the passing of your Dad / husband. Had I known earlier I definitely would have come to pay my respects. I remember your Dad and the kindness he showed to all of us back in our days at our favorite little four room red schoolhouse. Those were great times and I miss you guys - one sitting in front of me and one sitting behind me. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
With deepest sympathy,

Ross and Sherrie Stratton (Honeycutt)

I remember waiting by the phone on Edward St. with other family members for 'Little Arthur's' call before he went underground for the Army & getting to sleep in his room when I stayed over. I found his uniform in the attic and he gave me his army shirts -that was the style then-
Arthur & John would take me to fish and pick on me at 4th of July parties on Edward St. (punches in the arm).
I'll never forget when Judy & Arthur wanted to cut my hair - I was so mad.. Horseshoes on the Cape - the memories of times shared will always be with me.

Love you "cuz"

Bobby

Mr. Martin,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during the Cold War-especially during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Millions of Americans slept safe at night because you and your fellow servicemen stood ready to defend our Country. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
