I don't even know where to start. I still don't know what to think. This year is going to be so much different from last without you. I'm so used to seeing you everyday before and after school at my house, working with my dad. I miss everything so much including all of our stupid jokes that nobody else would understand except for us. Like "JC" or "Have you thrown anyone down any stairs .. ?" Haha, oh god I miss you so much. Your one of the funniest people I've ever met in my life. Rest In The Sweetest Peace <3 I love you. Love, JC . (Chealsie)

Mr. Madden,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USAF during the Cold War. Millions of Americans slept safe at night because you and your fellow servicemen stood ready to defend our Country. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I was so sad to hear the news of Mike's illness and now passing. I have not seen Mike in many years but I am blessed with many fond memories of one of the funniest guys I ever knew. In recent days, Teri C.and I as well as others from the Lake, have been warmly recalling Mike stories from years gone by. There are many. We will all treasure these memories in our hearts. Till we meet again Mike -- keepem laughing.

Mike was a special friend growing up and came back into our lives within the past year. He'd come and visit with us talking about our past, the present, and the future. He was so very proud of his son and his face would beam when he spoke of him. Mike was an amazing, funny, kind, and down to earth guy who should have been a comedian! I will always think of him with a smile on my face. God Bless Him and all of his family. It is truly tragic to have lost him so young and unexpectedly. We will see him again, for sure!!

my memory of uncle mike was when i went camping with my uncle and my cousins and he came along with us. He was walking around and looked at us girls and was singing a song that only the kids would know. He sang it and then tried to impress us kids to make us think he knew the song. i miss him very dearly and he will be in my prayers. Aunty i hope you know that no matter how tough this may be you need to remember that god is right by your side taking care of you.

It is not every day a person has the chance to pass along their inner most feelings but this sad occasion allows me the opportunity. Michael represented all that is important in this world: kindness, strength, hope and love. I feel truly blessed to have enjoyed his life and sadly his last days here with us. Most precious of my memories are the times he said: I love you, too, Auntie...............

.
I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the Madden family. I cannot imagine your grief over the sudden and unexpected loss of Mike. I know you are a strong family that Mike was always proud of. He was an incredible person who enjoyed life. I hope you and all who knew Mike can remain strong with the memories of his life. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mike was a good person. I have still not grasped the loss of my close friend. I truly valued our friendship. We grew up and enjoyed many experiences together. Those years growing up together were great and I will remember them forever. I can only hope and assume he is in a better place now and we will meet again.

In the past year, my strongest memories of Mike are how much he wanted to take care of and be with his son. He always put him first. He would pass up a night out with his friends to be with Chris. He had his priorities straight. I will always remember this!

Mike was loved by all and will be greatly missed by his family and friends!

I will miss you Mike! See ya in the next life…..Bob

Don, Mike will be surely missed. He was always talking about his son how proud he was of him and the dog that would take his shoes and remotes to the yard always making everyone laugh. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So He put His arms around you
And whispered 'Come with Me.'

With tearful eyes
We watched you suffer
And saw you fade away
Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the best.

It's lonesome here without you
We miss you more each day
Life doesn't seem the same
Since you've gone away.
When days are sad and lonely
And everything goes wrong
We seem to hear you whisper
'Cheer up and carry on.'

Each time we see your picture
You seem to smile and say
'Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping
We'll meet again someday.'

Rest in Peace-God Bless
