Patricia M. Wasil

Brockton Patricia M. (Hanna) Wasil, 58 years, of Brockton, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was born and raised in Dorchester, a daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Hannon) Hanna. Patricia was a graduate of St. Patrick High School in Boston, and moved to Brockton 37 years ago. She had been employed by Shaws on the south side of Brockton as a cashier for the past 12 years. Mrs. Wasil will be remembered by those who knew and loved her as a kind hearted, generous and loving person; who enjoyed hard work and having fun. She enjoyed reading and cooking, but most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters and a son, Diane White and her husband Mark of Georgia, Donna Wasil, Debra Miller and her husband Charles, Ronald W. Wasil, all of Brockton and the late Joseph Wasil; fourteen grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Falco of Rockland; two brothers, Donald of Georgia and James Hanna of Rockland and the late Paul and John Hanna; and her brother-in-law, Michael Wasil. She was the wife of the late Ronald W. Wasil. There will be a funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Thursday, at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish/St. Colman Church, at 9 a.m. Cremation to follow.
