Ann Duchaney Obituary

Abington Ann E. Sis (Wilson) Duchaney, died peacefully, Aug. 20, 2008, of Abington, Conway, N.H., and formerly of Neponset. She was 81. She was the wife of the late Arthur R. Duchaney. A member of Americas Greatest Generation, she unselfishly dedicated her life to her husband and six children. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as long days at Nantasket Beach, watching birds at her many bird feeders and her numerous driving trips across country with the love of her life, Tony, her husband of 56 years. Never afraid to share her point of view, her strength of character was the hallmark of her essence. She will be missed dearly. She is survived by her children, Arthur R. Duchaney Jr. of Hanover, Carol A. Logue of Abington, Anne Marie Dastous of Bourne, Richard N. of Hampton Falls, N.H., William P. of Abington and the late Paul E. Duchaney; sister of Robert Wilson of Bridgewater, Marilyn OLeary of North Conway, N.H., and the late Edward Wilson and Mary Crossman; grandmother of 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; dearest friend of Ann Wright, Eleanor (Ellie) MacLean and Jim Tangherlini.
