Frederick Tracia Obituary

Frederick J. Tracia SEBRING, Fla. Frederick J. Tracia, 85 years, of Sebring, Florida, formerly of Holbrook, Mass., died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, at Florida Hospital Heartland Division in Sebring. He was the husband of the late Mary C. (Wall) Tracia. He was born in Boston, a son of the late Louisa (Annaclor) and Pellegrino Tracia. Mr.Tracia served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received the Silver Star. He established the distribution center in Allston for General Motors and retired as manager from General Motors in Westwood in 1982. He was artistically creative and enjoyed arts, dancing, good food and cooking. He will be remembered for being rich in spirit and love. He is survived by four grandchildren, Chuckie Lamore of Bridgewater, Mass., Mary Lamore of Brockton, Mass., Tracie Lamore of Fairhaven, Mass., and Cherri Lamore-OBrien and her husband Scott OBrien of Abington, Mass.; eight great-grandchildren, Jordan, Rubin, Tianna, Michael, Matthew, Bobby, Timmy and Anthony. He was the father of the late Joyce Lamore. Visitation in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Friday, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Brockton, at 10 a.m. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Mr. Tracia,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
