Stacia M. Franciosi WHITMAN Stacia M. (Verbiski) Franciosi, 87, of Whitman since 1951, died Sept. 24, 2008. Native of Brockton, Stacia's employment included Eaton Shoe, George Knight Company and Handy Hannah. Stacia was active in women's clubs and at Our Lady of Ostrobrama Church. The wife of the late Armand, she was the beloved mother of Linda Franciosi-Uftring of Whitman and Robert Franciosi of Brockton; grandmother of Robert and Andrew Franciosi of Pembroke and Brad Chasen of New York; great-grandmother of Dion Chasen of New York; aunt of many; and sister of the late Sophie Starr, Blanche Colombo, Joseph Verbiski and Albert Verbiski.
