Mr. Boffetti,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Naval Construction Battalions during WW II. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. The men who served in the Seabees were some of the unsung heroes of the War-they built airfields, advanced bases and naval anchorages and when they had to, were always ready to put down their tools and pick up their weapons and fight. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
