oh Barb...hard to believe it's been over a month since I heard your voice on the phone, although I must say; I hear your voice everywhere now--now more than ever. You left a permanent mark on my life, that's for damn sure. I am at peace knowing that you are not in pain anymore. Someone as special as you didn't deserve to suffer any longer... I will always remember your wise-guy remarks that are only funny if they come from your mouth. We love and miss you so much...you touched everyone that knew you in some special way...you were the grandmother I never had growing up, and I appreciate that more than you probably ever knew. Watch over us and keep us strong, as YOU (little you) were one tough cookie. I will always remember and pray for you. Please pray for me. You are forever in my heart. Love you Barb ;)

Barbara, please know and to all of you who knew and loved this very one of a kind, incredible GOOD lady.
You were and are the finest mother-in-law and grandmother,to our children, that any man could ever ask for.You were always ready to "rescue" us with a great meal or even a roof over our heads, more importantly it was your kind, frank, loving looks(with those beatiful blue eyes)and words of guidance that all around you received, like it, or not.I will miss your love but truly know that you are now resting in the place of pure love:HEAVEN,"GOD LOVES YOU AND SO DO I".

Barbara,
Your life has touched many people in this world. Mine being one of them. You opened your heart and shared with all of us. I will always remember you as the mother I never had. I am sorry I wasn't with you when you started your new journey. And once again you have taught me a valuable lesson. Never let too much time go by to tell someone how much you love them. I will miss you for the rest of my life. I love you always.
May the lord open his arms and welcome you to your new life in heaven. I will meet you when it's my time and I know you will show me the way.

To Barbara's Family:

She was my best friend and we traveled and gambled all over the place.I will always remember and laugh at some of our excapades and the many miles we traveled together.
I am sorry she didn't let me know when she was at the end of her life I would have liked to laugh with her one more time. I have great memories from Nursing School and the years following when we worked together.
I have missed her these last few years and will always remember her.

Hey Ma, I know your at peace and finally pain free, but my heart is so empty. I know the pain and emptiness will heal in time. You were my hero, my pillar of strength, and now my angel. I love you with all of my heart, and will miss you with all of my soul. R.I.P. Cathi :'-(
