Dear Michelle, we grew up together at Frank's, you were a part of my family. Ive always wondered how you were. Bless you and see you when I get there. ❤

To Mickey's favorite goofball and all of her family, friends and admirers. Life is not the same without her beautiful smile and the way she made each person she met feel special and important. With every kind gesture, generousity toward others and childlike curiousity about the world around her, she added something special to all of our lives. I miss her today no less than yesterday. May she rest in peace knowing how loved she is and the impact she made in the lives of those she touched.

Dear Winnie
Its been almost three years now and I can't help it but I MISS MICKEY so much it hurts. I can't even imagine how a GREAT MOM like you is feeling. I'm so sorry I haven't been there for you and your family more but I can't help breaking down in front of all of you and its not right. Just want to say I've NEVER had a FRIEND like Mousie before and KNOW I NEVER will. God only produced ONE MICKSTER. and then put that mold in his Museum. I am ridden with guilt for not being a better friend to her as she was to me. I look up ALL THE TIME and ask her to forgive me. But when I get up there she will punch me and call me many bad names and then i'll know its my TRUE and BESTEST FRIEND on and off this planet....MICKEY! My heart is with you and the rest of your family and with ......well, with who Walt Disney said once......IT ALL STARTED WITH A MOUSE...
Love with all my heart and soul

My deepest sympothy to the Hadges family and friends. you may notice I'm signing this long after Micky's passing. My dad passed away 13 March 09 and his memorial is on this site. I was looking through it one more time and was curious if I knew anyone else as I left Brockton 31 years ago to join the Air Force. I was shocked and very saddened when I saw Mickey's name and picture. I grew up with her at the Howard school and my mom still lives on Wilder St where we grew up. Mickey was a special girl then and I can tell from all the messages on this site she grew up as that same beautiful girl I knew. My prayers go out to you.

I used to play in a band at Frank's in Brockton and was sad to learn of Mickey's passing. She always had us laughing and there was never a dull moment when Mickey was around. May she forever find peace and serenity.

Dear Winnie,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Michelle "Mickey". I remember Mickey as a very young girl full of energy and always smiling and fun. I know what a wonderful Mother and family you all are and that you know you are never alone and her spirit is and will be with you always. May you take comfort in the fact that she is not alone but in the loving arms of those who went before her. Stay strong wonderful lady - you are a special woman and much loved by all that know you. In peace and love to you and your family.

I am so glad to have worked with Mickey for 3 years at Sagamore Inn, having yard sales together, dying her hair, waking her up in the middle of the nite to talk, and just being her friend. I will never forgive myself for not talking to her for the last month, i couldve been there with her if i knew her time was near. I will always love her and miss her with all my heart

It was with deep regret that I read of Mickey's passing. I had been keeping her in my prayers. We were always happy to have her attend Mass with us here at Corpus Chrisit Parish in East Sandwich. To her mother, siblings, and their families we at our parish offer our sympathy and the promise of our prayers for her repose and for your consolation. God care for her and be with you at this time of loss. May your faith be a consolation.

Mickey,

You were warm, sincere, loving, generous, sensitive and beloved by all who knew you.

As an Aunt you were ALWAYS there for Sophie, Alex and Nickie with a hug a kiss and usually something fun.

As a sister and daughter you were always on call and never missed a chance to be of help.

To almost all of Eastern Massachusetts you were that special friend to those who happened by one of the many places you tended over the years.

Winnie, Chris, Boofie, Dena, Sophie, Alex, and Nickie my heart is with you over your loss of Mickey.

To The Hadges Family, My heart bleeds for your great loss. I hadn't seen Mickey for years and bumped into her at the Sagamore Inn down the Cape. She was our waitress. It was so nice to speak with her and catch up. She was always so beautiful, so happy, so funny and spent a while hanging around with us when growing up. She was such a good-hearted person that carried around a beautiful light with her. May she rest in eternal peace in God's home and I look forward to looking her up when I get there! God Bless you All and my sincere, heartfelt condolences to you all.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dear Hadges Family,
This is one of those times when you read someone's name in the obituary column, and just freeze. Somehow saying that I'm sorry for your loss seems so inadequate, but it is all anyone can say.
I knew Mickey from BHS. I haven't seen her in years, but have many fond memories after high school of going to downstairs Frank's where Mickey would generally be there.
I just remember her as always being so happy and possessing a beautiful smile. My condolences to Mickey's family. May she rest in peace.
