"Back in the day", when women were required to wear them, I always looked forward to seeing Mrs. Blenis and her marvelous hats as she walked down the aisle at Holy Ghost Church.

For me, the Fourth of July will never be the same now without Barbara. Our little part of the neighborhood shoots off fireworks and all come and gather. Barbara always brought sparklers for the kids and would make such a great fuss over them all. I miss her stories and easy laughter.
