Haidou Bloumbas Obituary

BROCKTON Haidou (Taxos) Bloumbas, 83 years, of Brockton, died Oct. 26, 2008. She was the loving wife of George Bloumbas of Brockton; loving mother of Ann Siamantouras of Brockton, Kostas Bloumbas and his wife Diane of Raynham and James Bloumbas and his wife Debbie of Easton; loving grandmother of Evan, George, Jimmy, Kristin, Nick and Haidee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ioanna Fotiou, Soultana Papoulias, and Evangelos Taxos. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Thursday, at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Anthony Evangelatos will officiate. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. Donations in Haidous memory may be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. For directions and obituary, visit www.RussellFuneralHome.com.
