William T. Higgins

LARGO, Fla. William T. Higgins, 67 years, of Largo, formerly of Brockton, Mass., died Oct. 30, 2008, after a brief illness. Born, raised and educated in Boston, he was a son of the late Timothy and Sarah (Bonner) Higgins. Bill was a former employee of the New England Teamsters Union Local 653. Following his retirement in 2002, he and his wife moved to Largo. He enjoyed his years in Florida and time with his family. Bill is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary C. (Matthews) Higgins; a son, Timothy Higgins; two daughters, Elizabeth Pereira and her husband Joseph and Jennifer Hyman and her husband Daniel; three grandchildren, Bailey and Cameron Pereira and Isabella Hyman; and a sister, Mary Walker.
