Mary A. Struzik

MARSHFIELD Mary A. (Sullivan) Struzik, of Marshfield, died Nov. 20, at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, in Brockton, at the age of 74. She was the beloved wife of 50 years of Robert R. Struzik of Marshfield; dear mother of Caroline Cook and her husband Edward of Burbank, Calif., and the late Catherine Struzik; loving Nana of Henry E. Cook; sister-in-law of Irene Pietrasik of Billerica. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary was a retired school teacher in Randolph, where she taught for 39 years. In her retirement, she was a poet and song writer. Mary wrote the lyrics for the musical Charles and Diana, which was performed in a theatre festival in New York City in 2005. Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. (Rte. 139), Marshfield, Monday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Christines Church, 1295 Main St., Marshfield, at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday, Nov. 23, from 2 to 6 p.m. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Marshfield.
