Marion Dower Obituary

Marion E. Dower BROCKTON Marion E. (Nash) Dower, age 83 years, passed away Monday, at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center. Born May 29, 1925, in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late Mildred Nash Wilbur and Leon R. Nash. A lifelong resident of Brockton, she worked as a stitcher for Nardi Sportswear of Brockton and for many years at the Roma Caf, also of Brockton. Marion was also a member of the Conte Memorial Club of Brockton. She was very proud of her Swedish heritage and was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brockton. She is survived by a son, Thomas P. Dower of Wareham; a daughter, Linda A. Dower of Raynham; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. A son, Edward J. Dower, and her siblings, Russell Nash, Robert Nash, Vera Morton, Dorothy Makela and Frances Fales, preceded her in death. She was also the dear friend of the late Gus (Huck) Uzzo. Visitation only will be held Friday, Nov. 28, from 5-8 p.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton. All other services are omitted. Interment will be at a later date in the Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. For additional information or to send a condolence, please visit www.d-mfh.com.
