Charlene Thomas Obituary

BRIDGEWATER Charlene A. (Mackiewicz) Thomas, of Bridgewater, died suddenly, Nov. 25, 2008, in Good Samaritan Medical Center, in Brockton. She was born in North Hampton, May 7, 1949, and was a daughter of the late Lorraine J. (Vanasse) and Charles J. Mackiewicz. Charlene had been a resident of Bridgewater for 40 years. She was a cook for many years at Julio's Cafe, enjoyed gardening and was an avid dart player. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Stephen F. Thomas Sr. of Bridgewater; her children, Wendy and her husband Ron Bradley of Mountair, N.M., Julie Hurley of Randolph, Stephen Jr. and his wife Kim of Middleboro and Charles J. and his wife Kim of Fairfield, Vt. Charlene is also survived by seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, at 12 p.m., in the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater. Visitation will take place prior to service from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Interment will be private at a later date. Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason 508-697-4332
