Philip Haskell Obituary

Philip M. Haskell BROCKTON Philip M. Haskell, age 57, of Brockton, formerly of Holbrook, passed away peacefully, Nov. 26. He joins his parents, Marshall and Winifred Haskell, and his beloved sisters, Helen Haskell and Gail DeVincentis in eternity. He was the beloved brother of Lillian White and her husband Larry of Holbrook, Robert Haskell and his wife Ruth of New Hampshire, Marsha Pocius and Winnie Haskell, both of Brockton, and David Haskell and his wife Barbara of Minnesota. Also survived by his brother-in-law, Phil DeVincentis; and several nieces and nephews. Phil was a magna cum laude graduate of Blue Hills Regional High School and also attended Northeastern University. He was very proud of his career at Stone & Webster as an electrical engineer. Special thanks to his extended family at the Brockton Multi-Service Center. They have been wonderful friends and caregivers to Phil for many years. Thank you to the staff of Bridgewater Nursing Home. They provided Phil with excellent personal and loving end of life care. Funeral services will be held in the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 South Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Holbrook, Monday, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service, beginning at 9 a.m. Interment in Union Cemetery, Holbrook. Donations in Phil's memory may be made to your local Salvation Army.

Nov 26 will be a year. I still miss you. But you will be with us in Spirit this year at the old Holbrook homestead, our last Thanksgiving dinner in Holbrook.
