Eloise Shetler Obituary

LAKEVILLE Eloise A. (Coy) Shetler, age 88 years, of Lakeville, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at the Island Terrace Nursing Home, Lakeville, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Willie A. Shetler, who predeceased her, Oct. 7, 1999. She was born in Brockton, daughter of the late Alford and Mary (Holmes) Coy. She was a longtime resident of Whitman, upon retiring, she moved to Okeechobee, Fla., and due to failing health, moved to Middleboro, until entering Island Terrace. She was a retired machine operator, at the U.S.M. Machine Company of Whitman. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was an avid artist, photographer, gardener and especially loved her family. Survivors include two sons, Willis E. and his wife Dawn Shetler of Warren, Mich., Wayne A. and his wife Patricia Shetler of Middleboro; one daughter, Eleanor J. Kenneally and her companion Joseph Gadman of West Bridgewater; one sister, Grace Reid of East Bridgewater; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was mother of the late Elwood R. Shetler. Funeral services will be held in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro, Thursday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours, to which realtives and friends are invited to attend, will be held Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Burial will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Thursday, at 11:30 a.m. For more info, please visit www.eggerandashleyfh.com.

Sorry to read about your Mom
She was such a nice person and I know she will be missed
Paul lives in Okeechobee, what a shame he didn't know she was there too, they could have shared memories.
