Jeanne McEwan Obituary

EASTON Jeanne E. (Reardon) McEwan, 66, a resident of Easton for the past 38 years, died Tuesday afternoon at Massachusetts General Hospital, in Boston, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Edward McEwan for 38 years. Born in Cambridge, July 8, 1942, a daughter of the late Henry and Katherine (Doyle) Reardon, she was raised and educated in Medford. She was employed by New England Telephone Company of Brockton for 19 years. Jeanne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Easton. In addition to her husband Edward, she is survived by two children, Sean McEwan of Easton and Christine McEwan of Raynham; and two grandchildren, Thomas Cairns and Colin McEwan. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Kane Funeral Home, 605 Washington St. (Rte. 138), Easton, Saturday, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Easton, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Easton.
