Mr. Holmes,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Dear Suzanne, Paula, Michael, Laura, Horrigan and Totman Families - Our condolences go out to you on the passing of your wonderful Dad and Step Dad. There are just too many wonderful things that I could say, which would take up this entire guestbook - at least 30+ years of wonderful things. What stands out for me is that Dick is one of the most kindest, empathetic, gentle and loving souls that anyone would be blessed to know. Uncle Dick came into my life just over 30 years ago when he married my Aunt Anna. Right from the start I saw how wonderfully happy he made my Aunt, and as part of my family, he always brought so much happiness to my folks and to me as well. Whenever Dick was around, it was always a great time. He always gave of himself, selflessly; helping everyone without reservation. Being a master electrician, he helped my folks, my aunts and uncles, and others with anything he could do. He always put others before himself. Even at the piano, he would spend time with me, teaching me a little Scott Joplin and how to 'swing that bass' ....'because someday you might want to play that in a bar room!' Uncle Dick would say that with his infectious smile that we all know and love. He loved music, he loved to tell stories from when he was aboard ship; antics he and his pals did while the captain was asleep. The stories from when Uncle Dick was a child, how he loved his Mom and Grandmother, sitting in that old car that she no longer drove, to milking cows on the farm, to the Rocky Marciano stories - are not only priceless memories that I hold in my heart, but they also tell the story of a man who was very sensitive, loving, put others before himself - and a man who was a ton of fun and brought so much happiness to everyone. We're all better people for knowing Dick, how he touched our lives and I'm proud to say that my life is made better because of Uncle Dick. Thank you Uncle Dick for everything you were for all of us; for my Aunt Anna, for my folks, for my family and for me. LuAnn, I want to especially thank you for everything you did in taking care of Dick. You are a HERO. Love Always, Paul, Joe and Mike Marinucci, and, Linda and Jon Green

YOU WERE ALWAYS A GREAT UNCLE TO ME IF ONLY BY MARRIAGE, IT DIDN'T MATTER BECAUSE I ALWAYS HELD YOU IN SUCH HIGH REGARD. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE
