Roberto Valladares Obituary

Roberto M. Valladares West Bridgewater Roberto M. Valladares, 65, of West Bridgewater died Thursday, Oct. 25, at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Brockton after a brief illness. He was the husband of Rosemary L. (Champagne) Valladares. Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, on July 6, 1942, a son of the late Matias and Juana (Mejia) Valladares, he was raised and educated in Honduras and came to the United States in 1962. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S Army. He was employed as a bartender for several years and worked for George's Caf of Brockton and the former Siciliano's Restaurant of Brockton. He later became a grounds keeper for the Veteran's Affair Medical Center in Brockton. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Roberto Valladares of West Bridgewater; a stepson, Aaron Chauncey of Attleboro; and three grandchildren. A funeral procession will leave from the Kane Funeral Home, 605 Washington St., (Rte. 138), Easton, on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a committal service with military honors at 11 a.m. in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
