Henrietta Jones Obituary

Henrietta E. Jones Easton Henrietta E. (Heinig) Jones, in West Bridgewater, Nov. 22, 2007, died after a brief illness at age 96; residence, Elise Circle in North Easton, formerly of Taunton; wife of the late Eldridge Jones. Daughter of the late Arthur E. and Julian (Steinke) Heinig, born in Perth Amboy, N.J., she spent most of her life in Taunton and was the treasure of the Golden Ages in Easton. Henrietta was the mother of Robert N. Jones of Easton, Richard E. Jones of Taunton, Kenneth Jones of Taunton, Eugene Jones of Dennis and Marilyn Welfare of Minnesota; sister of Gertrude Washburn of Middleboro, Eugene Heinig of Raynham and the late Irene Heinig; grandmother of 26 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held at the OKeefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., in Taunton, Sunday, Nov. 25, from 4-6 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Taunton on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Henriettas memory may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA 02114.
