Eleanor L. Coelho

Eleanor L. Coelho West Bridgewater Eleanor L. (Brooks) Coelho, 85, of West Bridgewater died Nov. 26, 2007, in Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. She was born raised and educated in Brockton and was a daughter of the late John and Louise (Mc-Carthy) Brooks. Mrs. Coelho had been a resident of West Bridgewater since 1950. Eleanor was a loving mother and homemaker and raised four sons along with her late husband, Edward P. Coelho, who died in 1998. In earlier years, she enjoyed travel, especially the vacations she and her family took to Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and Montreal and, of course, Cape Cod. She will be remembered as a quiet lady who enjoyed watching and talking to the neighborhood kids, taking care of her home and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Eleanor leaves her four sons, Edward of Berkley, David of Plympton, Gerald of Carver and Philip of West Bridgewater; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; one niece and two nephews. She also was the grandmother to the late Melissa Coelho. The funeral will be held from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Friday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Ann Church, West Bridgewater, at 10 a.m. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery.
