Paul Vella Obituary

Randolph Paul A. Vella of Randolph, died June 20, 2008 at the Guardian Center after a long illness, he was 80. Paul grew up and attended school in Braintree before moving to Randolph 43 years ago. He was a postal clerk for the US Post Office in Boston for many years. He enjoyed golf at the Braintree Municipal Golf Course. Beloved husband of Mary (Good) Vella. Brother of Joseph, John and Catherine Vella and Anna Gilberto, all of Braintree and Mary Blackburn of FL. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St., (Rte. 28) Randolph, Friday at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 3-7 p.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Late US Navy WW II Veteran. Donations in Paul's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
