Marilyn - my condolences on the loss of your father. When I saw his picture in the paper obituary - I recognized your smile in his face. It brought back many fond memories of our BC days and times spend with you and your family. I still remember our many searches for "Gloria" and smile every time I pass the stables of our sightings. The years have flown by - I hope they have been good ones for you and your family.

Dear Marion and Family,

I had the delightful pleasure of meeting Bob when Marion was at Carney Hospital in 1998. My husband was having a hip replacement right before Marion had hers. I was, of course, concerned for my husband as was Bob for his beloved Marion. Bob and I chatted in the waiting room. He was one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. Bob came to visit my husband while visiting Marion. When it was time to leave the hospital, Bob helped me wheel Hank out and carried flowers and his belongings to our car. He was truly an angel! While saying goodbye to me and my husband, Bob gave us his work and home phone number in case we ever needed him for anything. We'll never forget the kindness and generosity of this man as long as we live. May God comfort you during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are certain that Bob went straight to Heaven.

Lovingly,
Kathy and Hank Pelletier

Dear Marion & Family, Joan & I are sorry for your loss of Bob,who was a
Dedicated family man, Registrar of Motor Vehicles, U.S. Naval Officer and gentleman.
As my training officer, in 1959, Bob advised
Us to nice public, especially if the person is arrogant when you stop them on a motor vehicle violation, because you always have the last word.
He told us of a person he stopped once, who said
“Why don’t you shove that Badge?”
Bob laughed and said to the guy “You mean this jagged thing, touching his badge”
Bob said “I’ll see you in court.”
