I'll never forget Fran's kindness to me when I was a "new" teacher at SBHS in the early 90s. She was truly a gentle soul, a class act. I would throw a yearly Christmas party; not all the "old" teachers would attend--but Fran and Tom were there! They were a great pair, always witty, joyful, positive.
A wonderful wonderful lady was Fran. My condolences to Tom and the family. Mary Counihan

Dear Thomas and family. So sorry to hear of Fran's passing. Although I haven't seen her in quite awhile, I remember spending "vacations" at her house in South Boston when I was a child. Her Father Frank was my first cousin. I will always treasure those times when I visited my cousins in South Boston. My prayers are with you all. Love, cousin Santa (Squadrito) Donnarumma
