Mary Linagen Obituary

Weymouth Mary E. (Westington) Linagen of North Weymouth died July 14, 2008 at the Colonial Nursing Home in Weymouth. She was 95 years of age and was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She graduated from Scituate High School class of 1931. Mary was a Sunday School Teacher and active member of the Pilgrim Congregational Church in North Weymouth. Among her interests, she enjoyed sewing, needle point and crocheting. Through her kind acts and thoughtfulness, she became known as the Angel on the Hill . Beloved wife of the late Edward H. Linagen. Devoted mother of Kevin Linagen and his wife Ingrid of Weymouth. Sister of Charles L. Harris of FL. and the late Edwin Westington of Scituate. Loving grandmother of Kevin W. Linagen of North Weymouth and Eric Linagen of Somerville. Funeral Service in the NORTH WEYMOUTH McDonald Funeral Home at 40 Sea St. (off Rte. 3A) Thursday at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday morning from 10:0011:00 A.M. prior to funeral service. Interment will be private in Fairview Cemetery in Scituate.
