Helen Perkins Obituary

Weymouth Helen E. (Mara) Perkins died unexpectedly July 21,2008 at Brigham & Womens Hospital. She was 77 years old. Born in Nova Scotia, she was raised & educated in Jamaica Plain & graduated from Jamaica Plain High School. She has lived in Weymouth for 52 years. She was a retired employee of E.L.S.I. (student loans) in Braintree & was formerly employed by A-1 Sales in Weymouth. Beloved wife of the late John A. Perkins. Mother of Susan Perkins of Weymouth & John Jack & his wife Patricia Perkins of East Bridgewater. Grandmother of Jeffrey Stapleton, Hollie Stapleton, Kristen Perkins & Cheryl Perkins. Great Grandmother of Trevor MacLean. Sister of Jean Powers of Dedham, Philip Mara of Cataumet & the late George Pete Mara & Dorothy Mara. Funeral from the SOUTH WEYMOUTH McDonald Funeral Home, 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opposite South Shore Hospital) Friday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in the St. Albert the Great Church at 10:00 oclock.
