Dear Ger & Family,

I'm so very sorry to hear about your Dad. I know all too well what illness and loss means for those we love.

Time really does make the road easier.

I'm really so sorry to hear the news, and I hope more than anything, that "FRED" is finally resting peacefully and free of pain.

He was a trooper and so blessed to have you all by his side.

Mrs. Duggan, Gerry, Vicki, and Cathy;
Gerry and I were saddened to hear of your loss. Much as one is relieved that the suffering of a loved one is over, nothing can alter the grief the death of a beloved parent brings . I truly believe your dad is at a peace that only a bereaved parent can know.Our prayers are with you.

Mr. Duggan,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I will always remember Fred’s words to us so many years ago when we went to see him and Eunice on the night of Ricky’s accident: “God does not go into the garden to pick a bad flower.”

Our faith and hope says that they are together again.

God bless you all.
