Jason Monaghan Obituary

Plymouth Jason Daniel Monaghan, age 27, died unexpectedly on August 3, 2008 in Plymouth. He was the beloved son of Deborah J. (Follette) Travers of Plymouth, MA and John Monaghan, formerly of Braintree, MA. Born in Plymouth, MA on November 15, 1980, he was educated in Plymouth and a graduate of Plymouth South High School. Jason was employed by Bugaboo Creek Restaurant in Plymouth as a cook. He was a life long Plymouth resident and enjoyed skate boarding, drawing, softball and collecting comic books. He also enjoyed working as a disc jockey and loved music. Jason is survived by his mother Deborah J. (Follette) Travers and her husband Leonard Trav Travers, both of Plymouth, his father John Monaghan of MS, his brother Lee Travers of Plymouth, two sisters, Angela Travers of Carver and Stephani Travers of Plymouth, his grandparents Ellis and Sandra Follette of Plymouth, Virginia Monaghan of Braintree, Jacqueline Kilsby of Halifax and Leonard and Joyce Travers of Brockton. The funeral will take place on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth. Cremation will take place at Mayflower Crematory, Duxbury. Friends may call at the Cartmell Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, New England Chapter, 109 Highland Ave., Needham, MA 02494. When you feel the warmth of the sun upon your face that is Jason smiling down at you. When you hear the raindrops fall gently against the window those are Jason's tears, for he continues to share all your joys as well as your sorrows...although he is gone in body he will forever live on in your hearts.
