Martha Pray Obituary

Marshfield Martha E. (Forsyth) Pray, passed away at the Golden Living Center in Plymouth on August 18 at the age of 82. Mrs. Pray was the wife of the late Thomas H. Pray. Martha is survived by Susan Scammell and her husband Charles of Marshfield, Joan Hite and her husband Thomas of Marshfield and Bonnie Turner and her husband Michael of Oceanside, CA. She also leaves 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. Pray was born and grew up in Braintree, lived in Weymouth for 10 years, Pembroke for 7 years, Marshfield for 30 years and Plymouth for the last 7 years. She was a charge attendant nurse for the Boston State Hospital for 19 years before retiring in 1975. Martha was a member of the Lady's Benevolent Society of the Marshfield Congregational Church and enjoyed going to Bingo. Friends and relatives are invited to the visiting hours at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday, August 20, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed immediately by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Martha's memory to the Asera Care Hospice, 40 Washington St. Suite 100, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481. Dear Susan, Joan & Bonnie,
