William G. Ryan

MIDDLEBORO William G. Ryan, 64, of Middleboro, formerly of Weymouth and Bridgewater MA, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2008 in his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 39 years, Maeve H. (Curry) Ryan and their children Bridie K. (Ryan) Concannon and her husband, Martin, of Bridgewater, William Ryan and his wife, Wendy, of Marshfield, and Tracey M. (Ryan) Dyment and her husband, Matthew, of Norwell; his brother John V. Ryan and his wife, Joyce, of Hingham; his sister Mary Adams of San Jose, CA, and his 5 adoring grandsons. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was the son of the late Helen (McClain) Ryan and John Ryan of Weymouth and nephew of the late Dennis Ryan, former Clerk of Courts. Bill served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam conflict and was a member of the Marine Corps League. He worked as a firefighter for the City of Quincy for 31 years, retiring in 2004, and was a member of the International Association of Firefighters. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday the 3rd from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy, MA.
