Mary M. Buckley

HINGHAM Mary M. (Cummiskey) Buckley, age 85, a Hingham resident for the past 25 years, died on Wednesday, August 27th, 2008 at the Queen Anne Nursing Home in Hingham. Mrs. Buckley was born in Rochester, NH, raised in Prince Edward Island and came to Boston at the age of 15. She lived in Brighton, Wellesley and Acton, prior to coming to Hingham. Mrs. Buckley enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, cribbage and was well known for her prize winning apple pies. Also, she was associated with the Hingham Ballet School for a number of years. She was the wife of the late Joseph K. Buckley and mother of; Maureen A. Buckley-Walsh of Mansfield, Karen Gelineau of Nashua, NH, Brian D. Buckley of Lowell, Mary T. Buckley of Stowe, VT, Frances B. Kolenik of Reading, the late Paul G. Buckley and the late Michael J. Buckley. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Robert E. Walsh. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 6th at 11 AM at St. Paul's Church, 147 North St., Hingham Square. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. The interment is private.
