Paul was one of my many choate cousins. Paul and I were the same age and I have fond memories of our youth. Dick Choate just told me of his passing. My love to all of his family. My mother was Helen Choate.

Mr. Choate,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USMC during WW II. It was the history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines back then that all of us Marines who followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I'm so sorry to hear of Paul's death. I so dearly wish I had contacted him once I discovered our family connection.

I have been working on the Reddy family tree, and had recently discovered Paul's grandmother Ella Reddy Choate was my great-great aunt.

I hope to contact the family soon to share with them their father's mother & grandparents historical documents.

My mother Anne J Reddy Clark knew your father was her cousin but was never sure of the connection until I was able to show her the family tree.

My prayers go out to the family at this sorrowful time.
