Donald Conroy Obituary

WEYMOUTH Donald Conroy, of Weymouth, formerly of Hingham, October 2, 2008. The devoted husband of 53 years to Jean (Ward) Conroy. Loving father of Patricia Ann White and her husband Charles of Bridgewater, Mary T. Simonds and her husband Paul of Cohasset. Brother of Mary Louise Cargill of Melrose, Mildred Stopyra of FL, Joan Conroy of Melrose and the late Paul, Joseph and Eleanor Conroy. Cherished grandfather of Diana, Jessica and Nicholas. Donald grew up in Hingham and worked for the Town of Hingham as a Tree Foreman in the Parks Department for 35 years retiring back in 1989. He enjoyed watching football and baseball and really enjoyed singing. Donald was a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was an easy going man who enjoyed spending his time with his family. They will always remember him for his funny sense of humor and his compassionate ways. Donald will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., Hingham, Monday at 10:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul's Church, Hingham at 11:00 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 2- 6 p.m. Burial in Saint Paul's Cemetery, Hingham.
